Please save the date for our final fundraiser of the year!  On Thursday, March 26, from 5-7pm, we invite Cornelius Elementary students and their families to CES for a night of celebrating our students, the school and the arts.

Highlights from the evening include:

* 3rd – 5th Grade Talent Show

* Spring Book Fair (evening hours on this day only!)

* Student Art Work Showcase

* Sneak Peak at our Drama Club’s “Annie, Jr.”

* Music Performances by 2nd and 3rd Grades

* General PTO Meeting

* Raffle for Class Artwork

Please plan on staying for dinner, too!  The Imperial Sandwich Company food truck will be at the school serving delicious eats during the event.

It’s going to be a wonderful night and we hope you can join us.  Please look for additional information coming home with your student soon.

Today is the last day to submit your candid photos for this year’s school yearbook. Think field trips, Cougar DASH, Power Time, Holiday Party, lunch with your child, school club activity, Father Daughter dance…if you have them, please share them!

Here’s how to submit photos using our new yearbook software:

Once you have access to the site, click on “Manage Photos.”  You will now see a list of files on the left-hand side of the page.  Choose the relevant file and then click “Upload Photo.”

The PTO Executive Board would like to change the current Cornelius Elementary bylaws. The Executive Board is asking for approval to change the annual elections to the month of March. Please see the section of the bylaws and the change highlighted in red.  The vote for this amendment will be held at the March 26 General PTO meeting.

The Executive Board already gained member approval to hold the 2015-16 PTO Executive Board elections this March, but we are looking to change the bylaws permanently.
