Talent Show Information and Registration:

Talent show registration is now open! Students will receive their registration form in folders this week. You can also view a copy here. Spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis so make sure to return your form quickly! If your student’s act is not one of the 20 spots filled, they may choose to participate in the K-2 or 3-5 grade level performance.

Talent Show Quick Facts

  1. Talent show participants must register by returning the registration form to their teachers no later than February 1st.
  2. Students registering as small groups must each send in their own registration form to be included.
  3. Acts will be selected on a first come, first serve basis.
  4. Performers must be available for rehearsals each Thursday (2/15 – 3/14) from 3:45-5:00pm. Rehearsals are led by approved CMS Volunteers (not teachers).
  5. Dress Rehearsal is Wednesday, 3/20, from 3:45-6:00pm
  6. Song choices must be approved by school administration. Parents are responsible for providing all instruments and props. Costumes should adhere to the school dress code.

  8. All parents with students performing will be asked to volunteer at the Art Expo, rehearsal, event, assist with clean-up and/or contribute to these activities. This ensures we are able to continue to host this event and make it a safe, positive experience for all of our performers.
  9. Please email us with your questions!

Volunteer Information:

This event requires a large number of volunteers. During the week of Celebrate the Arts, we will host the Scholastic Book Fair, an Art Expo featuring at least one piece of original artwork from each student, and the CES Talent Show

We are still looking for volunteers to assist with hanging art work, helping students with their book fair purchases, and preparing for the talent show. Please consider volunteering an hour or two of your time to make this event a huge success for our Cougars.

Thank You to our Sponsors for Making this Event Possible!
