Thank you to all the families who submitted box tops during our “I Heart Box Tops” contest this month.  We counted 6,702 box tops, raising $670 for the school!  We call that a success and really appreciate all your efforts.

Our Yearbook committee is still collecting photos for this year’s book.  If you have taken any during field trips, Cougar DASH, Power Time, Holiday Party, lunch with your child, school club activity, Father Daughter dance, etc., we would love to see and possibly use them.  The deadline to submit photos is Sunday, March 1. PTO EXECUTIVE BOARD NOMINATIONS

Just a reminder that nominations for the 2015-16 PTO Executive Board are due tomorrow, Thursday, February 19.  The elections will be held Thursday, March 26, in the cafeteria, prior to the 2nd/3rd grade performance.

Saturday’s Father Daughter Luau Night was a big success!  Fathers and daughters were all smiles.  Thank you to all who attended.  And, a BIG thank you to Sherry Hickman and Angie Regan, our event chairs, and all the numerous volunteers who helped put this special night together.  The time and energy they put into this are much appreciated!

Let’s show our bus drivers how much we appreciate them this week!  Please be sure to tell your bus driver(s) “thank you” for getting your children to and from school safely each day.  Please ask your children to make their bus driver a card or take them a flower or any other positive gesture of appreciation.  Let’s help make their days!
