The FINAL Cougar DASH collection day is tomorrow, Monday, 11/02.  All donations turned in by EOD Monday will be eligible for the raffle drawing on 11/08 and any prizes earned.  Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 through this event and we’re not quite there.  We can do this!!  Please bring your completed pledge cards and donations to school tomorrow OR you can make a donation online by CLICKING HERE.  All donations (online or cash/check) will go towards prizes earned.  Thank you for your continued support and GO COUGARS!!!

The fall Book Fair is coming next week and it’s going to be monstrous!

Your student will be going to the Book Fair with their classes, first to preview the books and make their wish lists and next to purchase any books.  Your student’s teacher will provide you with their preview and purchase schedule.

Also, we will be having a special “Scream Team Lunch” on Friday, November 6 from 11:30-1:30pm.  Be your student’s Scream Team and join them for lunch in the cafeteria and browse around at the book fair.  A Scream Team can be family, friends, neighbors or anyone who supports your student.

The Book Fair schedule is:

Monday-Tuesday, 9am – 2pm:  Preview Days

Wednesday – Friday, 8:15am – 1:30pm:  Purchase Days

Friday, 11:30 – 1:30pm:  Scream Team Lunch

JOIN US FOR DINNER AT BROOKLYN SOUTH & SHOP AT RIVALS SPORTS (FEATURING CHRISTMAS IN THE VILLAGE) ON OCTOBER 28TH

This Wednesday, October 28th, Brooklyn South and Rivals (Christmas In The Village) are partnering with us for a joint community night. By eating at Brooklyn South and shopping at Rivals (Christmas In The Village) on Wednesday, they will donate a percentage of sales back to Cornelius Elementary. In addition to this, Rivals is hosting a coloring contest that evening. Room Parents have emailed coloring sheets for the contest. If you do not have access to a printer, extra copies will be in the front office at school. Prizes will be announced and awarded to winners. They are extending their hours to 8:00pm on Wednesday for us. Let’s help support these local businesses as they help support Cornelius Elementary
