Attention 5th Grade Families: From Bailey Middle School

We welcome you to Bailey Middle School for the 2013-2014 school year! Our Bailey Middle School PTSA invites you to stay involved with your child’s school as you make the transition to middle school. We are currently seeking candidates for next year’s Board of Directors and we always welcome volunteers for our various committees, and even as Committee Chairs. Whether you have an hour or many hours to offer, know that we have a spot for you and welcome your involvement!

In this week’s Friday Folders an Officer’s Nomination Form went home with all current 5th grade families to help us identify candidates for next year’s PTSA Board of Directors. The forms can also be found by clicking the links below. Please return forms with interest to Washam’s front office by Wednesday, March 26. Additional information regarding all positions can be found on the BMS PTSA website at http://www.BaileyMiddleSchool.info.

We look forward to meeting our future Broncos!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE THIS EVENT HAPPEN AND WHO CAME TO ENJOY IT!

Special shout outs and thanks go to:

  • Our face painter extraordinaire, Denise Powers, for doing such phenomenal face painting work and staying soooo late to get through our extremely long line of kids.  Face painting was definitely the most popular attraction – thank you Denise!
  • Mr. Rosebrook for bringing Clifford to our school event!
  • The 5th Grade class and Kathi Bjork for creating a sensational bake sale (check out the photos to see a picture of those amazing Cougar cookies and desserts!)
  • Jennifer Guerry, Heather Carlock and Melissa Dionne for helping to organize the event and make it all happen!
  • Pam Varghese for bringing the school store to the event and Lena Graham for offering yearbook sales at the event.
  • All of our game volunteers, including Debra Allenbach, Jennifer Williams Cannon, and Stephanie Kennedy.
  • And to Swati Goel for selling tickets to all of our great Cornelius parents who came to the event.
  • And, last but not least, thank you to everyone who worked the Scholastic Book Fair, because without you, we wouldn’t have Family Fun Night!

Thank you again to everyone – our volunteers, parents and most of all students!
