The Yearbook Committee needs your help!

Work is underway on the 2014-15 yearbook and we would love your help!  Do you have any photos from school events (current year only)?  Think field trips, Cougar DASH, Power Time, Holiday Party, lunch with your child, school clubs and anything in between.  We have a new yearbook software that allows anyone in our school community the opportunity to upload these photos for potential use.
If you have some photos you would like to share with our Yearbook Committee, please use the following information:

Once you have access to the site, click on “Manage Photos.”  You will now see a list of files on the left-hand side of the page.  Choose the relevant file and then click “Upload Photo.”

PTO Vote, Spirit Wear and Holiday Store

Thanks to all the PTO members who came out for last night’s meeting.  There was a unanimous vote to move elections for the 2015-16 PTO Executive Board to March 2015, so the new board can begin working on budgets and planning fundraisers for the following school year.  If you are interested in running for an office, look for additional information soon.
CES Spirit Wear would make fantastic holiday gifts!  Inventories have been updated online.  There’s still time to order and have them hand-delivered to your student at school.

Lastly, a big thank you to Lisa Lindley, Holiday Store Chairwoman extraordinaire, for all your hard work.  We are grateful for you.  Students were so excited to be able to select the perfect gifts for their families, teachers, friends and even pets!

December 11 PTO Meeting Agenda

We invite you all to join us this Thursday, 12/11, at 6pm in the cafeteria for a brief PTO meeting preceding the K-1 winter performance.  We will be updating members on our fundraising status and asking for a vote to approve a March election date for next year’s PTO Executive Board.  We are also happy to answer any questions you may have.
Also, don’t forget the Holiday Store this week!  It’s open now through Thursday and your child will be visiting with their class during the day.  Check with their teacher for their scheduled time.

Help Celebrate Assistant Principal Brammer’s Birthday

Assistant Principal Brammer’s birthday is coming up!  Let’s help her celebrate by sending in cards from students and parents.  They can be homemade, a simple note wishing her well or store bought.  Please bring in all cards this Monday, December 8, either to your student’s teacher or drop them off at the front office.  Thank you for helping us make her feel special!  The PTO will also be providing her a special lunch on Monday.
