Please join us as we celebrate the amazing teachers and staff members at Cornelius Elementary. Next week, May 7-11, we are asking students to show their appreciation by bringing in special notes, treats, gifts and flowers for their teacher and assigned staff member. Our Hospitality Committee has also arranged to provide lunch each day, as well as a couple breakfasts and treats, too.

Please have your student participate by bringing in the following each day for their teacher and assigned staff member.

Monday, 5/7: Monday Morning Memos (present your teacher with a note telling them why they are so wonderful)

Tuesday, 5/8: Tuesday Treats (bring a sweet treat or piece of candy)

Wednesday, 5/9: Wonderful Words (Choose a word to describe your teacher for each letter of their name, write it down and bring it in. (acrostic Poem))

            Example: Smart Magnificent Intelligent Terrific Honest (Smith)

Thursday, 5/10: Thursday’s Terrific Teacher (room parents will present class gifts)

Friday, 5/11: Friday Flowers (bring a flower or create your own drawing of a flower)
