The PTO is looking for committee volunteers and chairs for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. We still need chair people for Celebrate the Arts, Holiday Store, Son Event, and Daughter Dance. Cornelius Celebrates the Arts: This special event celebrates our students’ talents in art, music, dance and more. Committee volunteers help before, during and after the event by coordinating Talent Show, securing food vendors, securing event sponsors, helping the night of the event, etc.

Holiday Store: The Holiday Store opens for one week each December. Students visit with their classes to purchase gifts for family and friends. Volunteers help assist in ordering products and wrapping materials for the store, coordinate shopping times with teachers, donate time to help students shop, check-out and wrap their gifts, set up and clean up.

Son Event Committee: Each year, CES hosts a Son Event. This committee works closely together to create an event, identify a date, send registration forms to students, collect RSVPs and collect ticket money and distribute tickets prior to the event, and ensure a seamless event night.

Daughter Dance Committee: The Daughter Dance Committee works to transform our school cafeteria into the year’s theme and create a night of fun. This committee does everything including decorations, hiring a DJ, selecting food, coordinating ticket sales, and coordinating volunteers for set-up and clean-up.
