On Saturday, May 6th, from 9am to noon, Cornelius Elementary will be hosting a lemonade stand at Wilhelm Park (behind the school) to raise funds for E2D. E2D or “Eliminate the Digital Divide” is a non-profit agency that aims to bridge the digital divide between students that have access to computers at home and those that don’t by distributing laptops, providing digital access and enabling computer training programs. We are in need of at least 6 students and 3 parent volunteers to man the lemonade stand during one hour shifts. The shifts are 9-10am, 10-11am or 11am-noon.
