Calling all kindergarten families!  Please join us tomorrow, Wednesday, 8/19, from 4-5pm on the front playground to meet your classmates, play and enjoy some popsicles.  If the weather does not cooperate, we will meet in the gym.  We look forward to seeing you there!

There are 13 days left to order your School Tool Box!   Skip the trip to the store for back-to-school supplies and order online.  One cost covers everything your student needs for their grade level.  We’re making it too easy!  All orders made before August 10 will arrive before the first day of school.

We’re only halfway through summer, but want to extend a big welcome to all the new kindergarten families and families new to CES this school year!  The PTO is already planning exciting events and fundraisers for the school, staff and students.  You will be receiving more information from us closer to the start of school, but we did want to share a few things now.

Volunteering with the PTO

We encourage all families (new or not) to join the PTO and become actively involved.  The PTO is able to accomplish so much because of volunteers like you.  There is truly a place for everyone – – whether you have limited time to help from home or are able to be hands on at the school, we need you!  Please take a look through all our PTO committees and their descriptions.  If you would like to get involved, please use the Volunteer Form and send it back to us.

Silent Auction Fundraiser

Our first fundraiser of the year is our annual Silent Auction Fundraiser.  Please save the date for Friday, September 18, from 7-11pm, at the Galway Hooker for this adults-only event.  Ticket information will be available soon, as will additional details about auction items, menu, etc.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the Silent Auction or if you have items to donate for the auction (think electronics, sports tickets, vouchers for class or kids activities, gift certificates, etc), please contact Allison Labovitz.

Corporate Sponsorship

The PTO has developed a new way for local businesses to support our school and help offset the costs of our fundraisers and activities.  We have created tiered levels of sponsorship, each with varying levels of advertising for your business.  It’s an excellent marketing opportunity and a wonderful way to show your support of CES.  If you have a business and would like to be a sponsor or if you know of a business you can approach, please click here for more information.
