Calling All Rising Kindergarten Families!

Summer is almost over, and we are excited about the upcoming school year. We would like for all of our 2016-2017 Kindergarten families to attend!

This is a chance for our rising Kindergartners and their families to have popsicles, play, and meet new people. The PTO Executive Board will be there to answer questions, and we would love for our previous Kindergarten parents to be there and make the new families feel welcome.

 

 

Get Involved in the PTO: Chairpersons Needed!

We are still looking for volunteers for each of our PTO Committees for the 2016-17 school year.  We need a Chairperson for each of the following Committees:
Grounds Beautification
Community Outreach
Art by Me
Cornelius Celebrates the Arts
Welcome Committee
Sponsorship Committee

Student Assignement Phase I Community Engagement Schedule

The sessions, which start on Aug. 8, will be organized by high school feeder pattern and explore early ideas that may impact the 2017-2018 school year. The meeting for the Cornelius feeder pattern (District 1) will be held August 10, 2016 at Hopewell High School from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  Families whose children attend schools other than their assigned home school are encouraged to attend the session for their home school feeder pattern.
