Brooklyn South/Rival Night Results

Congratualtions to our Rival’s coloring contest winner!s! Here’s a picture of the coloring contest entries and the winners are as follows:

K-1 Bernice in Ms. bracket’s class
2-3 Shelby S in Ms. Hefner’s class
4-5 Alexis in Ms. Bowery’s class
Most creative Rachal in Ms. Bowery’s class
We raised $150 from Rivals for this event and all kids who entered received a certificate for a $2 credit at the school store. 
We also raised $395 from Brooklyn South. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this event!

5th Grade Fundraiser: Pretzel Day

The deadline for the next Pretzel Day is now Monday, November 14 due to the day off on the 11th. Order forms went home with student’s in Thursday blue folders. Pretzels will be delivered on Friday, November 18 and any room parent wishing to order them for power time may do so using the regular order form.

6 Days Until The DASH!

We’re only six days out from the Cougar DASH on 11/10!  We hope your little Cougars are getting excited!  Don’t forget to go out this weekend and ask family, friends, neighbors, etc. to support your runner with a pledge or flat donation.  With this in-house fundraiser, 100% of the money raised will go directly to the school!

Moms Night Out at Alton’s Kitchen & Cocktails

Calling all CES Moms!
Please join us on Tuesday, November 15 at Alton’s Kitchen & Cocktails in Cornelius. It’s going to be a fun night of mingling while enjoying great apps and dinner.  Alton’s is very generously donating a portion of food sales from this evening back to the school.  Enjoy a great night out and support the school – – it’s a win-win!
