Cornelius Elementary would like wish all of our sponsors a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank  for your sponsorship throughout the year. It’s community partners that make our school stronger and able to to do more to support Cornelius Elementary students and staff.

Today was our second collection day for the Cougar DASH. So far we have collected $21,301 and our goal is $25,000. We have only 1 more collection day scheduled so PLEASE help us meet our goal! The FINAL collection is this Monday, November 21st and if your little Cougar brings in completed pledges by Monday they will receive 1 raffle ticket for every $10 collected. The raffle will be held at morning announcements on Nov 28. If you don’t have time to collect cash/checks, it’s never too late to make a flat donation online!  Please CLICK HERE to donate now and don’t forget to forward the donation link to those friends and relatives who live out of town.

5th Grade students are selling Butter Braids from now until December 2nd to raise money for their Washington D.C. Class Trip Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund helps send students whose families would not otherwise be able to afford the trip.

Butter Braids are Danish pastries that come frozen and are ready to bake after rising overnight – a delicious morning treat for breakfast or brunch during the holidays or anytime! Please see any 5th grade student or 5th grade teacher to order – delivery will be December 16th, in plenty of time for holiday parties, guests and celebrations!

Come visit our school store! It will be open tomorrow in front of the PTO office from 8:15-8:45AM. There are many things available for your little cougars to purchase!
