There is still time to take the LEAD! Bring in ANY of your extra change to catch up with “Pennies for Pages”. Ms. Gantt’s class is still in the lead for K-2 grades and Ms. Fitchett’s class took the lead for 3-5 grades!
Pennies for Pages” helps classmates who may not otherwise be able to purchase books at the Book Fair. If you would like to participate, please have your student bring in spare change everyday. The classroom that collects the most money during “Pennies for Pages” will win a s’more party during April Power Time, as well as additional books for their teacher’s classroom.
If you are unable to attend and would like to purchase books online, our online book fair will be open March 10-24th! Books will be delivered directly to your child’s classroom. To browse online, please CLICK HERE.

CES Celebrates the Arts Night is TOMORROW NIGHT!

Hey CES Parents: Did you know that studies suggest schoolchildren exposed to drama, music and dance are more proficient in reading, writing and math? Help support the Arts programs in our school by attending Cornelius Celebrates the Arts on Thursday, March 16th from 5:00pm-7:30pm. Highlights include the Talent Show, 2nd & 3rd grade performance, Spring Book Fair and Galapagos Exhibit featuring your child’s artwork. Tender’s & Whit’s frozen custard will be available for sale (cash only). See you there!
