Your Cornelius Elementary School PTO presents the 2024 Son Dance!

Get excited and “Let’s Glow Crazy” at this year’s dance! We can’t wait to see you “Glow” as you walk down the halls of Cornelius Elementary on Saturday, April 13th, from 6:00-9:00 PM. Grab some glow sticks and dance the night away to tunes from our favorite DJ. Wear your favorite white or neon clothing and accessories. Light refreshments will be served.

CES sons only, plus one adult. Tickets for each couple are $20. Additional student tickets are $5.

TSS Photography will offer photo packages the night of the event for $20 (cash preferred).

Don’t miss your chance to GLOW! Tickets can be purchased online until noon on April 12th.

Get Ready, CES! We’re coming to you live THIS THURSDAY with painters, singers, gymnasts, dancers, comedians, and so much more, as we present Cornelius Celebrates the Arts! There is something for everyone, and we hope every CES family will join us! Here’s the lineup:

Hello Cougar families! We have a few reminders for the Scholastic Book Fair, which begins tomorrow, March 18th.

E-Wallet

Don’t want to send cash, checks or credit cards into school with your student for the Book Fair? Set up their eWallet instead! The eWallet is a quick and easy way for students to make purchases at the book fair. Simply follow the link below and add funds to your students account. The funds will be available in our system when your student checks out at the Book Fair!

All For Books Voting

You can help support books for all CES students by donating loose change to our All For Books Collection. All money collected goes to support new books for our library! We will be collecting at carpool drop off and the bus lot. Students can vote for their favorite book collection, and the winning book title will have copies added to the library for students to borrow.

CES families, we need you! Your CES PTO is preparing for one of our largest, and best events of the school year! Cornelius Celebrates the Arts begins next Monday, March 18th. During this time we will host the Scholastic Book Fair, an Art Expo featuring at least one piece of original artwork from each student, and the CES Talent Show!

We are still looking for volunteers to assist with hanging art work, helping students with their book fair purchases, and preparing for the talent show. Please consider volunteering an hour or two of your time to make this event a huge success for our Cougars.
