Back to School Parent Event – Friday, 9/10!

We are getting close to the first annual Back to School Brew Fest this Friday! This will be an exciting chance to see old friends and meet all of our new Cougar parents.

Please join us for an adults only evening of craft beer, music, food trucks and mingling at D9 Brewing Lake Norman from 7-10pm. There will be live music from local duo, The Dropouts.

Early bird tickets will include 2 tickets for our raffle and are available until Thursday, 9/9. Tickets will also be available at the door but will only include 1 raffle ticket. Please visit the CES PTO Online Store to purchase your tickets today!

Meet the Teacher Times & Tips

TOMORROW IS MEET THE TEACHER AT CES! Please join us Monday, August 23rd.

  • 4PM-5PM- Families with the last name beginning A-K
  • 5PM-6PM- Families with the last name beginning L-Z

Here’s a few things to look for while you’re at the event:

  • Bring your supplies! This is a great time to drop off all of your little Cougar’s notebooks, pencils, etc. (Pro tip: Look for your teacher’s wish list! Most have it posted in their class)
  • Look for the Room Parent Sign-up Sheet in your teacher’s classroom! This is a fantastic way to get involved in your student’s learning environment.
  • Stop by the PTO Tables! This is the place to buy a CES t-shirt, umbrella, etc. (Pro tip: Ask us about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities! We are so glad you’re here, and can’t wait to help you get involved with our school community)

Good morning Cougars! We know there are a few families out there who might need more details on drop-off and pick-up procedures at Cornelius Elementary. Let us help!
