Good morning CES families! While we celebrated Teacher Appreciation at our school last week, the national dates take place May 8th-12th. During this time, there are many matches for teacher projects through the DonorsChoose organization. Beginning this morning, Tuesday, May 9th, The SONIC Foundation will make sure every single donation on DonorsChoose is matched at least 50%, while funds last. That means a $20 donation will become a $30 donation, and so on.

We have several open projects for our teachers that could benefit from this special match! Visit the website to check them out!

Tuesday is day two of the CES Spirit Wear Clearance Sale! A variety of CES logo items are available for purchase, including t-shirt designs from the current and prior year. Students may shop during their lunch time on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a CASH ONLY sale! Items include:

Parents may stop by between 11:00am – 1:30pm after signing in with the front lobby (parents may only shop the PTO table during this time, and cannot visit or have lunch with their student).

Take a moment to celebrate all of the moms and special women in your life! Saturday, May 6th, from 10:00am-1:00pm, Inspired at Lake Norman will host a shopping event to help you find the perfect gift for Mother’s Day. Bring your children to shop while enjoying coffee, juice, and doughnuts. A portion of sales will be donated to the CES PTO.

Good morning CES Families! Have you registered for the bus for the 2023-2024 school year? This must be done annually, and the deadline is quickly approaching! Any family who would like their student(s) to have bus transportation next year will need to fill out this form from CES by May 19th.
