Lowe’s Grant to CES

The CES PTO is pleased to announce that The Lowe’s Gives Foundation has awarded a $21,570 grant to the Cornelius Elementary PTO for its Learning in Full Swing project.  We will use the grant to purchase and install a full set of swings on the front playground. We are so grateful to Lowe’s for its support of the students at Cornelius Elementary School. Not only will these swings benefit the students, but they will be utilized and enjoyed by the whole community, as well.
Lowe’s, a FORTUNE® 50 home improvement company, has a 50-year legacy of supporting the communities it serves through programs that focus on K-12 public education and community improvement projects.  Since 2007, Lowe’s and the Lowe’s Gives Foundation together have contributed nearly $250 million to these efforts, and for more than two decades Lowe’s Heroes volunteers have donated their time to make our communities better places to live.
