The ABCs of Room Parents

The ABCs of Room Parents:
Activities: A room parent is involved with coordinating fun activities for the class throughout the year. You will help to arrange PowerTimes, the classroom holiday party, and end of year party! You can attend every event, or work with other parents in your class to take turns.
Be Available: A room parent will help their teacher to find volunteers for events, field trips, school supplies or projects. Most of this can be done by email at home!
Communicate: A room parent serves as a liaison between the PTO and the classroom to pass along important information about upcoming events or deadline reminders.
We hope that you’ll sign-up to be a room parent for 2017-2018! For those that do, the only meeting of the year will be held September 8th from 9:30-10:30am in the cafeteria.
