We would like to thank the entire Cornelius Elementary community for all your time, energy, donations, ideas and effort you’ve shared during the past couple weeks. From Book Fair volunteers to parents/students selling raffle tickets to students sharing their talents during the talent show and performances to parents who so kindly provided dinner and desserts for the CES teachers and staff last night, we are so incredibly grateful for YOU. Your support and involvement is invaluable!
Just a reminder that all yearbook orders are due tomorrow, Friday, 3/27. Yearbooks are available for preorder only and will not be sold after delivery.
If you plan on ordering items with your child’s artwork through Art By Me, here are the deadlines:
- All manual/cash/check orders are due to the school by tomorrow, Friday, 3/27.
- If you are ordering online, however, there is a deadline extension. All online orders now need to be in by Sunday, 3/29, to make it into production.

6:15pm: Drama Club Performance of “It’s A Hard Knock Life” and “Tomorrow”
6:20pm: 2nd/3rd Grade Performances
5:00-7:00pm: Book Fair open in the Media Center
Odyssey of the Mind Club will be holding a bake sale in the cafeteria!
**Our final raffle ticket collection is Wednesday (3/25), so please send in all money, completed tickets and unsold tickets to your child’s teacher.

Our Spring Book Fair is coming to Cornelius Elementary next week, March 23-27. The week’s schedule is:
Monday & Tuesday: Students preview books
Wednesday – Friday: Students return for purchasing
Thursday: Special evening hours during Cornelius Celebrates the Arts
Friday: BLT day! Everyone is invited to come and enjoy Books & Lunch Together with your student.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, 3/19, is the first collection date for Cornelius Celebrates the Arts raffle tickets. All completed tickets and money should be returned in the envelope to your student’s teacher. The next and final collection date will be next Wednesday, 3/25. The raffle will be drawn at the Cornelius Celebrates the Arts event on Thursday, 3/27.
