Tomorrow is the Cougar DASH!

The Cougar DASH is finally here and we hope your students are excited for a fun morning.  Sir Purr, Cornelius T. Cougar and the Cornelius Police and Fire Departments will all be there to cheer them on!  You are all more than welcome to come cheer on the children, too.  As a reminder, here’s the morning schedule:
9:00-10:00am – 3rd, 4th and 5th grades run
10:00-11:00am – Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades run
To get into the cougar spirit, students will be bringing home a cougar paw temporary tattoo today to wear to the event. Please apply these before coming to school in the morning.  Also, please have your student wear any CES spirit wear or school colors.
As a reminder, online pledges can be made at any time by CLICKING HERE.  We will start collecting pledge cards and envelopes, with cash or checks made out to “Cornelius Elementary PTO” on Monday, October 20.  The other collection dates are October 24 and October 27 (final collection date).
It’s going to be a great morning!  We hope to see you there!

Calling all photographers!

Do you have a camera?  Do you bring it to school events?  We would love your help!  This year, we have a new yearbook software that allows our school community the opportunity to upload any photos taken at school events – – field trips, PTO fundraisers, Power Time, lunch with your child, school clubs and anything else.  Beginning today, we would love to start collecting photos for potential use in the 2014-15 yearbook.

If you have some photos you would like to share with our Yearbook Committee, please use the following information:
